Town of Orono recently issued the following announcement.
The Town is in the process of developing the budget for FY2019-2020. Over the course of the next few months, the public will have several opportunities to review the budget and provide public input. In addition to being available on the Town’s website at www. orono.org, residents will have the opportunity to review the budget at the Town Office. All meetings on the proposed FY19- 20 budget will be held in the Council Chambers, 59 Main Street. Council Budget Workshops will be held in April and May. The date and times will be listed on the website calendar. The agendas and recordings will also be available and posted online. The Public Hearing on the Budget will be held on June 10, 2019 at 7:00 pm and the Budget Adoption will be on June 24, 2019 at 7:00 pm.
